I have been CORGI registered since 1993. I have an honours degree in Physics with Physical Electronics from the University of Bath. I was a graduate working as a plumber long before it became trendy! I qualified as a plumber in 1992 with three distinctions and a credit - for copies of my qualifications check out my Qualifications page. With the increasing complexity of modern boilers it helps to have had scientific analytical training, a logical approach to fault finding is one that finds the fault(s) quickest, and therefore saves you money!
It is important in a job like this to try to maintain the highest professional standards, especially when there are so many 'cowboys' and incompetent engineers in the industry! I keep a full service history on my laptop, so I know what I have done on your boiler over the years. I keep a lot of technical information on my laptop, and in paper manual form. I'm not embarrassed to ring a Technical Support line if I need to.
